The objective is to buy food to flood the RBC Food Bank with goods to bless the local homeless and needy that come to RBC for help. 

A suggested donation of around $20/person should go a long way in blessing many and keeping the Food Bank well-stocked. If you cannot afford to give, you’re still very welcome to come out and serve.  It will be a blessing to witness the Lord do a lot with a little.

We’ll meet up at the Herdon Shoppers Food Warehouse at 7:30pm this Friday, August 15, to pray and to divide the shopping list by breaking into teams of 4 or 5 people before shopping.  (You may want to bring paper/pencil or a calculator to keep track of your contribution.)

Here’s an invitation from Hannah:Chelsea Markun is on a mission: to reach and nurture the people of Venezuela. After two, 1-year stints with Campus Crusade for Christ, Chelsea has felt the call to return this fall for a full time commitment (3-5 years).
With your help, I would love to send this Sister in Christ to those who need her with as much emotional, spiritual, and financial support as we can muster.

In order for you to better understand her call, her needs and her person, I invite you to my home for an evening hang-out. 7.24 will hold its regular meeting this Tuesday (July 29) but will be off the following week (August 5). Come on over to my abode around 7:30pm (to officially begin at 8:00pm) on August 5th. I’ll whip up some desserts, and drinks will also be provided.
